Counter sales and thermal receipts in a flower shop

Priroda, the flower-shop management software from priroda.tech, is the point of sale at the florist's counter: an order with flowers, bouquets, complements and services is built in seconds on the iPad, the customer pays by cash, card, bank transfer, Bizum or a Stripe link, and a thermal receipt with the shop's logo and a QR code prints over Wi-Fi. Stock is deducted at the same moment.

What makes the counter hard

  • The phone rings while an arrangement is half done, and the walk-in customer is waiting.
  • Prices are calculated by eye and differ from one person to the next.
  • Cash and card end up mixed at the end of the day.
  • The receipt is a handwritten note, or nothing.

How it works in Priroda

  1. Open New order. Search items by name or colour; the catalogue shows the stems left in stock.
  2. Add flowers, bouquets (ready-made or built on the spot), complements and services. Quantities, unit prices and the total are visible before charging.
  3. Apply a discount as an amount or a percentage if needed.
  4. Choose pickup or delivery, attach the client (found by phone number, or created in the same step), add notes.
  5. Take the payment: cash (with cash received and change given), card, transfer, Bizum, or send a Stripe payment link by WhatsApp or email. The order records the method and the payment status.
  6. Print the receipt from the iPad on an ESC/POS thermal printer connected to the shop's Wi-Fi: logo, itemised lines, VAT, totals and a QR code.

What gets recorded

Every line with quantity and price, the discount, the delivery fee, the payment method, cash received and change given, who made the sale, and the stock movement per stem. The daily cash report uses these records to close the till.

Frequently asked questions

Which printers work?

Any ESC/POS thermal receipt printer on the shop's Wi-Fi. The iPad app sends the ticket directly to it.

Can a sale be made without a client record?

Yes. A walk-in sale needs no client; attaching one is useful for repeat customers and for invoices.

Does the order need an invoice?

Not by default. An invoice with the VAT breakdown is created from the order when the customer asks for one, and sent by link.
